After qualifying as a beauty therapist with a BTEC National Diploma from Chichester College she soon opened her Pembrokeshire salon in 1991. Maria is regarded as one of the most qualified and experienced therapists in West Wales. Over the years Maria has used her knowledge to teach at Pembrokeshire college and provide private training at the salon. The salon is fully insured and a member of BABTAC , Maria and the premises are approved Special procedures Licence holders and The salon is also Registered with the Health Inspectorate of Wales for Laser Hair removal .
Recognition for her business and skills led her to being a finalist in the British Beauty Awards, Welsh Business and Welsh Woman of the year Awards, her passion and dedication saw her win “Best Beauty therapist in the UK” in the Professional Beauty awards and she continues to extend into new and exciting treatments and products. Over the years she has seen the industry change which has led her to the last 17 years using a more ethical, organic and natural approach, whilst balancing with advanced aesthetic procedures. Maria is now a Level 4 therapist in skin and the salon is fully insured and licensed. She is proud to have a small specialised team who are fully qualified, empathetic and professional. Lauren who is Level 3 NVQ Qualified ( 16 years experience ) specialising in Lymphatic massage, deep tissue massage , nails , lash lifts, SkinPen microneedling ,Environ facials and skin care advice . Georgia who is Level 3 NVQ Qualified and specialises in Lash extensions , Hot stone massage, SkinPen Microneedling ,Environ Facials , nails and Laser hair removal and spray tans and lastly Hollie NVQ2 qualified specialising in Bio sculpture nails ,Manual Lymphatic drainage massage , Massage ,Indian head massage, Elim Medi heel pedicures and CND nail extensions .There is also an Independent Nurse Prescriber Carrie Griffiths who has a regular day at the salon offering injectable aesthetics and advanced procedures. Amelia Davies qualified nurse specialising in HIFU treatment for womens vaginal health . Lastly our young Saturday and holidays help Lola our next budding apprentice.
